Community Gardening and Climate Change, with Professor Steven Running

How do climate and food production interact? We will begin with a tour of St. Andrew Community Garden, then enjoy a provided lunch in the church’s Garden Room.

At noon there will be a sack lunch at the church and an opportunity to visit with Dr. Running informally.

Dr. Steven Running will address questions from gardeners and food producers such as: What might we expect in coming years, and how can we adapt to changes? How can community gardening contribute to a healthier climate? What could we be doing better?

Families for a Livable Climate will be listening for Montana Climate Stories to add to their storytelling project.

Other local organizations involved in food production and climate care are invited to attend and listen to the discussion with Dr. Running.
